Working from Trinity Street in Hastings, Activ8 aims to encourage people from all parts of the community to look after their own individual health and wellbeing. We do this by providing opportunities for people to volunteer with us, participate in training, have fun with arts and creative activities and relax with complimentary therapies etc. Information about health and wellbeing topics are also available.
Message from Su, Development Manager at Activ8.
I am putting together an 'electronic' magazine that will focus on thepositive things in life... Things like Activ8!
It will be:- 'Focussing on optimistic and constructive wellbeing initiatives occurring in Hastings and Rother'
The 'e-mag' will be distributed via email to a wide variety of people so may have some influence in promoting uplifting and helpful ideas as well as a range of projects, including Activ8 of course.
Here's where I need your help. Do you have an 'uplifting story' or helpful experience of mental health services, Activ8, anywhere else? If you do and are happy to contribute (I can change names and dates etc if you wish) please email me something to:-
activ8networkmag@hotmail.com or
write: e-mag. 6 Trinity Street. Hastings TN34 1HG
Any questions please feel free to contact me 442435 or email as above
PS. if you want to offer any graphics, photos or cartoons I’d be glad to see them
Many thanks
Su

Good Health Guide (third edition)
At long last the third edition of the Good Health Guide is available, now in sunny yellow it is free to anyone, and if you work in mental health services you should be receiving a copy via your team or department.
The guide aims to provide health and wellbeing information about services and supports in the East Sussex area as well as listing some regional and national organisations.
In the long term we hope to develop an 'updateable' website that we will keep current but in the short term you can view or download an electronic version of the printed guide from here.
Please feel free to print and photocopy material from the guide. If you wish to link your website to our site please contact our webmaster.
