Hastings based Art Group
IT'S FREE & it's a drop in…so drop in!
Venue: Activ8, 6 Trinity Street, Hastings.
These are run all day from 10am- 4pm on Wednesdays & Thursdays, you can come for the whole day or just part of it. (Bring your lunch)
The art groups cover many materials and techniques such as Batik, oil painting, printing, felt making, watercolour painting, silk painting, acrylic painting, ceramics/pottery, collage etc… You can work as part of a team on group projects in the community and/or individually. You can learn new skills and hone old talents. This group, as with all the groups run at activ8 are for people of all ages and gender that have experienced mental health issues.
All the groups are free to join, we only ask that if you make a piece of artwork at any of the groups that you would like to take home that you pay for the minimal cost of the materials.
All donations are always gratefully received, as all monies all go towards keeping the activ8 service going!
All out door events are weather permitting - phone to confirm if the weather is bad.
