This exhibition titled 'Off my trolley' will be a unique and emotive exhibition of local artists who maybe service users, patient, friend or relative of someone that has experienced mental health issues or a supporter in raising a positive profile, image and voice for mental health. 'Off my trolley' is just one common expression used to describe someone who has experienced mental health distress, but aren't we all off our Trolley at some point with our busy and strained lives that we so often lead with no thought for our own mental well being? We could all be there! 'Off my Trolley' is an activ8 organised exhibition, which aims to raise mental health awareness and challenge the misconceptions of mental health by doing something that supports positive well being in us all.
Activ8 wants to celebrate the creativity of mental health service users and survivors by providing a unique opportunity to work together over world Mental Health Day, which is the 10th October.
